So, I, uh…have this tiny obsession with Mel Brooks, which may or may not have exploded when I saw The Producers twice on Broadway in its original run. As a result of that, and listening to the cast recording incessantly, I have pretty much memorized it…so here I am singing “King of Broadway,” which was made famous by the fabulous Nathan Lane.
…Just call me “Maxina Bialystock.” :)
GPOY right now.
(Trying again because the last posting attempt failed miserably…)
Best freakin’ moment of the entire movie. Danny/Kenickie = OTP for life.
OH GOD. Iām never going to be able to watch this the same way again. XD
Dude. Sandy is totally his beard, and Danny and Kenickie are so obviously the true OTP of the movie. He (Danny) gets more turned on (emotionally and physically) by a five second hug with Kenickie than a marathon of BLALALALA-ing his tongue down Sandy’s throat at the drive-in. Come on.
The more times I watch Grease, the more I become convinced that there is not nearly as much (or any) chemistry between Danny and Sandy as there is between Danny and Kenickie.
